Car Sales in less than 2 Hours - 2020-10-05
Hi Auto Champions. I recently started working for a great dealership and have been trying to understand the purchasing process, from the customer and business points of view. Here it is: Why can't someone buy a car in two hours or less? The current sales process seems like self- sabotage with lengthy steps and many prep items that can be done at home. Is this correct? Are you able to get someone out in two hours or less for

My personal best is about 45mins. Most range from about 1.5 to ~ 2 hrs however there are those that take 4+ hours. It depends on the customer. The shortest was someone on a used vehicle that just said I'll take it and no trade, negotiation or financing. Which is rather rare. People make their own experience to a degree. It would be much faster if they let me make all the decisions for them.
