Pros: I first became acquainted with Alan Ram's training through Chrysler Academy. We worked on it as a team at my dealership and really started seeing results relatively quickly. I actually ended up attending one of Alan’s Management by Fire workshops in Scottsdale, Arizona. That proved to be a great three days. I would say that for a dealer looking for the "magic pill", this isn't it. This is a real-world sustainable solution that like anything else worthwhile takes commitment, but I've seen a lot of cars sold as a result of it. I actually left the Chrysler dealership that I was at and am strongly influencing my new dealer to get this in place.
Cons: As I said, that for a dealer looking for the "magic pill", this isn't it. This program requires a commitment on the dealership to want to improve, to be professional in their dealing with customers. I find that everyone wants but few are willing to work, but if you utilize Alan's traing results will happen, sales will increase, customers will want to use your dealership.
Pros: I HAVE BEEN USING PROACTIVE SOLUTIONS FOR OVER 6 YEARS, WHEN I WAS A SALES MAN AND NOW AS A MANAGER. AS A SALES MAN I WENT FROM SELLING 10 UNITS A MONTH TO 15 PLUS UNITS. I WOULD INFORM EVERYONE THAT ALL OF OUR SALES DEPARTMENT AND SERVICE DEPARTMENT USE THIS TRAINING. THE RESULT IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION AND PROPER PHONE SKILLS. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS TRAINING FOR ANY DEALERS WHO WANT TO SUCCEED IN THIS PROFESSION.

Pros: I have been using Alan Ram's Proactive Training Solutions for over 10 years on a month to month contract. Alan and his staff are unbelievably supportive and always are truly adapting to ever changing market conditions. My new favorite use of his product is his quarterly live skype sessions for my Friday morning sales meetings. My sales staff continues to improve under his easy to use training platform, they even train at home!
Pros: Alan has outdone himself with his newly released content, it is very timely and effective for the current market. I have worked with Alan since the 90's and this is his best stuff yet!
Pros: For the members of you sales staff that have the ability to memorize 20+ hours of content verbatim, it works great. For everyone else, it's a waste of their time and your money.
Cons: Horrible Contract (Unless you liked being locked into 2 year deals on a product that underperforms). Customer Service - the only thing worse is their contract. The training is rarely updated, but you are locked in forever. Any company worth their salt these days has month to month contracts. Only the ones who know you will leave because their product doesn't support the price lock you up like these guys. Your Sales Staff, even the best of them, can't absorb the content. We've been at if for just under 2 years and still don't have a single Sales Consultant in any of our 3 dealerships who has been able to master it.
