Pros: Heard mixed reviews about the new version being solid. Mostly positive stories from iPhone users and negative from Andriod users.

Cons: Dealers Beware... that's not where the issues began. We had used this product on multiple occasions and tried to assist in trouble shooting some of the problems. After receiving a couple of nasty emails, we left VINViper and went to AutoNIQ. A year later after making the switch, Jason Seligman (the president of VINViper) logged onto Google+ and left a negative review on my dealership which has now costed me a couple of deals and he has never stepped foot in my dealership. Know before you buy into that you will deal with a mafia type president that will stronghold you into your contract or he will leave negative reviews on your place of business.
