Mile High Motors
Pokemon Go! and your dealership

Mile High Motors
Facebook The silent tool
Intro
I bet you're thinking," FACEBOOK?", but yes facebook. This can be an amazing tool for any dealership looking to contact millennials, their younger siblings, or older family. It could be the difference between a normal sell month and an outstanding sell month. I wish I could tell you it's going to be easy, but it's not, because if it was easy everyone would be doing it. It takes patience , understanding, and hard work.
The SetUp
First if you don't have a Facebook for your dealership you need to start one. Make sure everyone in the dealership knows YOU ALL have to be involved for this to work. Make a nice cover photo that represents what your company does, introduce yourself with a welcome post and work on getting your likes up.
The Reach
This is how many people that can see your post, this is paramount to your success on facebook. Your reach increases with how many page likes you have, how many friends a sharer has when they share or like the post. You can buy an ad to increase range but organic is the way to go. After you increase your like you can increase your reach.
Getting the Likes
Now at this point I'm sure you are wondering how to get your likes up, and really it's simple let me explain it for you. Make a new facebook(or you can use your current one), add as many people you can in your target city. Invite to like. I would say an average of 30 people per 100 will like a page when invited. So its a number game. Now get out there and get those friends!
The conclusion
Have a good logo, have a good brand, put a little effort into it. Once you understand how facebook works, you can reach more people and it will be the silent tool you never thought you would use.

Robert, that's awesome.
I'm also 23 and took it upon myeslf to write an article suggesting a few creative ideas for how dealers can use Pokémon Go to get more floor traffic (not a bad way to spend the work day). I assume your dealership is a Pokestop or is close to one?
I definitely feel we need to capitalize on this trend while it's still burning hot. If you have any other ideas that you see success with, please drop them in that article - I'd love to include more!

I actually created a how-to video for Pokemon Go with our Subaru store, it did really well on Facebook!
